Illinois man who went missing in Madison located

MADISON — UPDATE: A 66-year-old Illinois man has been located after disappearing in Madison after visiting family.

The City of Madison Police Department was looking for Andrew Alexander, a 5'11" African American with brown eyes, gray hair, and a short beard and mustache.

Alexander went for a walk in Madison and did not return home. He was last seen at the 2000 bock of McKenna Blvd. However, he is from Illinois and is unfamiliar with the area.

According to the Silver Alert, police believe Alexander has dementia or some other cognitive impairment. He also has a stutter.
