SHOREWOOD -- After threats of protests for the use of the N-word in the production of 'To Kill A Mockingbird', Shorewood High School has announced they will let the show go on as scheduled.

The school canceled the play on opening night last week due to the threats -- but after backlash from those who believe the play should be performed, Shorewood High reversed their decision.

The plan now is to include a Community Conversation on Race Tuesday and also hold a talkback after the first performance Wednesday night.

The first Community Conversation will be held at the school on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. and the first performance will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Parents of students at Shorewood High will get priority tickets.
