The semi-truck that burst into flames on I-43 in Ozaukee County on Wednesday was carrying cheese, according to the Ozaukee County Sheriff.
Police say the semi driver saw sparks coming from under the rear of his truck. He pulled over the the fire intensified between the cab and the trailer.
The driver was not injured, but the truck and the cheese it was carrying was a complete loss.
The fire closed
I-43 southbound for 30 minutes at Pioneer Road.
