Sheriff Clarke meets with Donald Trump

Posted at 5:15 PM, Nov 28, 2016

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke met with President-elect Donald Trump on Monday at Trump Tower in New York.

The sheriff was seen wearing his cowboy hat and carrying a briefcase as he went in the building.

A Trump transition team member said Clarke is being considered for a number of positions, not just Secretary of Homeland Security.

Clarke has been a longtime Trump supporter. He has been seen introducing him at major campaign events and has also been a frequent critic of the mainstream media, the Black Lives Matter movement and the Washington establishment in general -- things Trump  has also spoken out against.

Clarke walked into the meeting without any comment to the media. When TODAY'S TMJ4 reached out to his office they said he had no comment about the meeting.
