Sheboygan County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a wanted 36 year-old man, after a high speed chase exceeded 110 mph, according to authorities.

The man had a felony arrest warrant and also was wanted by Plymouth Police on other unrelated charges, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred around 6:25 p.m. on Thursday after deputies tried to approach the man at a Kwik Trip gas station parking lot in the town of Wilson, officials said.

When the man saw deputies approach him, he sped out of the parking lot. He eventually lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a ditch, the sheriff’s office said in a written statement. After a brief foot purist, he was taken into custody.

He has been cited for knowingly fleeing an officer, obstructing, and several other traffic offenses.
