The Sheboygan Area School District has cancelled school for Thursday. Ironically, it was supposed to be the district’s last day before spring break.
It sure doesn’t feel like spring now. Everything in Sheboygan County is covered in snow.
We found a lot of people shoveling, and not too happy about it.
“I guess mother nature was waiting for springtime to really get us,” says Paul Rousse. “It’s unbelievable. This is heavy snow. I almost bent my shovel. Brushing off my car took a lot of work, and the drive home was treacherous.”
Snow plow drivers aren’t complaining. They’ve been working all nigh to clear the roads. It’s a good end-of-the-season business boost for them, after a mild winter.
