MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police say unknown suspects fired several shots near Milwaukee French Immersion School on Wednesday.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the shots were fired near 52nd and Meinecke around 1:30 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
An MPS spokesperson said students skipped recess and remained inside as police investigated. No one was allowed inside the building at that time.
Following the incident, MPS said it sent information to students' families about what had happened.
