CUDAHY — The School District of Cudahy has confirmed several cases of bed bugs at Lincoln School.
Three bed bugs were found on a student in the classroom, according to Dr. James P. Heiden, the superintendent.
Parents were sent a letter March 8 informing them of the issue.
"The source of bed bugs often cannot be determined, as bed bugs may be found all over Milwaukee and the surrounding areas," said Lincoln Hills Principal Matt Orlowski.
K9 searches were conducted in the school Monday, and no infestation was found.
The bed bugs are believed to have been brought in by a student.
