SE Wisconsin Chick-fil-A's 'Hometown Heroes Appreciation Week' kicks off May 6

Eight Chick-fil-A restaurants will be giving out free chicken sandwiches for a week starting May 6.

This is part of the company's 'Hometown Heroes Appreciation Week' where they will be thanking service men and women with free food. Here's the schedule for when you can pick up a free sandwich:

• May 6- Nurses
• May 7- Teachers
• May 8- First responders
• May 9- Military and veterans

All you have to do is provide a valid ID of employment or service upon ordering. There is a limit of one sandwich per valid ID.

The Chick-fil-A's in Greendale, Drexel Town Square, Brookfield Square, Pewaukee, Racine, 124th & Capitol, West Allis and Pleasant Prairie are all offering the deal.
