The School District of Greenfield says it is investigating efforts a former employee made to fraudulently enroll students at Greenfield High School so they could play on the football team.

The person associated with the alleged efforts is no longer employed by the School District of Greenfield.
After learning about the alleged fraudulent enrollments, the School District of Greenfield says it notified the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA). School officials says it will cooperate fully with the WIAA and provide any additional information requested.
The school district says it is not aware of any fraudulently enrolled members that played on the 2016 football team.
