A Saukville man is being applauded for his efforts in clearing 25 fire hydrants of snow.
Matt Peters was praised by the Saukville Fire Department on Facebook for his deed.
Clearing the snow from a fire hydrant could save fire departments several minutes in case of emergency.
The department also encouraged others to clear hydrants and help out those who may not be able to shovel for themselves.
