OAK CREEK -- House Speaker Paul Ryan is fending off more criticism within the GOP.
Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin vows to unseat Speaker Paul Ryan.
Republican businessman Paul Nehlan wants Ryan's job. Sarah Palin says she can help him get there.
Palin made a stunning prediction about Ryan's political future, that did not sit well with voters in Ryan's district.
"His political career is over, but for a miracle. Because he so disrespected the will of the people," said Palin.
"She's been well removed off the scene for so long you know, I don't think her opinion has the sway like it did," said Phillip Pogorzelski, a voter.
"I think Paul Ryan has the job for life if he wants it," said Larry Shutz, another voter.
The speaker told the media Monday, if Donald Trump asked him, he'd step down as co-chair of the Republican National Convention.
Speaker Ryan and Trump plan to meet later this week.
