PORT WASHINGTON — The Port Washington Parks and Recreation center is bringing an alternative Santa experience this year.

At Upper Lake Park you can meet Santa in a giant snowglobe!

Santa will sport his red and white suit, photo-ready for everyone to see.

You can even drop off your letter to Santa in a mailbox at the park. Letters will be provided to complete at the park or bring your own to place in the mailbox.

Pictures will be taken at the event and will be instantly downloaded and available to print.

The picture link will be provided on the Port Washington Recreation Department website.

Pictures with Santa will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the stage in Upper Lake Park on Dec. 5, 12 and 19.

There will also be holiday music, lights and hot chocolate for sale during the event.

Pre-registration is required to attend.
