The runways at Mitchell International Airport are temporarily closed, the airport wrote on Twitter.
The Twitter account said that some pavement spots needed repair patched, and they are taking longer than expected to harden.
Some flights have been diverted. Check the list of departuresand arrivals.

The runway is expected to reopen shortly. The other runway is closed due to construction.
