MILWAUKEE -- A WE Energies truck rolled over on Interstate 43 Wednesday morning and caused massive delays during the morning rush hour.
It happened around 6:45 a.m. on I-43 southbound at Atkinson Avenue in Milwaukee. The accident forced Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Deputies to close the left two lanes of the freeway for roughly three hours.

The lane closures caused a 5-mile backup on the freeway at one point. Travel time delays were nearly an hour for traffic approaching the scene.
No information has been released yet on injuries or the cause of the crash.
