BELOIT — The Rock County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who left his home in Beloit.
77-year-old Holgar Frederick Nielsen was last seen at 12039 West State Highway 81 in Beloit. He left his home shortly after noon Thursday to go to Dick's Repair in Brodhead to repair a chainsaw. Holgar never showed up at Dick's.
Nielsen is described as a white male, 5' 10", and 135 pounds. He has short brown-gray hair with blue eyes. Nielsen also has facial hair, glasses, and a mole on his right ear.
Authorities say he was driving a 1999 blue Chevrolet pickup truck with Wisconsin disabled license plate of 349-23D registered to Susan Nielsen, his wife.
Family believes Holgar has early dementia, but he has not been diagnosed with it. Holgar has never gone missing before. Holgar has a credit card, but it has not been used anywhere since he left home. Holgar does not have a cell phone with him.
