Harley-Davidson motorcycles took over Brady Street Friday night and two riders in the crowd say they've found a lasting love on the back of their hog.
Cheryl and Frank Grothe got married 26 years ago, on a Harley-Davidson drag race track.
"They did the whole red light thing, everything when we got married," said Cheryl.
Twenty-six years later and they now ride cross country on their Harley together.
"Every single vacation we take, we ride our Harley," said Cheryl. "We've rode from Texas to Victoria, Canada and back. Last year for our 25th anniversary, we flew to the big island and then rented a motorcycle and did the whole island on the motorcycle."
This year is the third time they've traveled to Milwaukee from Texas for the Harley-Davidson anniversary party.
"We'll probably do the 120th, the 125th, you know it's fun up here," said Cheryl.
And they believe getting on the back of a bike together has kept their marriage strong.
"You need to share something, how else can you last if you don't have common interests," said Cheryl. "And what's better than a Harley?"
