According to a published report, Governor Scott Walker says President Donald Trump is thinking about applying Wisconsin's Act 10 law nationwide, a law that rolls back collective bargaining rights for public union employees.

The Journal Sentinel reports that Walker and Vice President Mike Pence spoke regarding the law enacted in Wisconsin in the winter of 2011, which brought about a firestorm of opposition but successful passage due to Republican majorities in each state house.

Federal government now has GOP majorities in the House and Senate.

"It's something the vice president has brought up before...it's certainly something we're willing to offer our assistance on, particularly if it helps not just the nation, but in turn improves our ability to be better stewards of the taxpayers here in Wisconsin," Walker told the Journal Sentinel.
