A northwest side grocery store will close this weekend, according to our partners at the Milwaukee Business Journal.
Aldi on North 76th Street will close on Sunday after 27 years of business.
“Although we recognize that the closing will affect some of our loyal customers, we’re pleased to continue offering high-quality, affordable groceries at several other Aldi stores nearby,” Aldi Oak Creek division vice president Atty McGrath told the Business Journal.
McGrath told the Business Journal no jobs would be lost and all employees can transfer to nearby stores.
Customers are being directed to the Aldi location on Capitol Drive.
