Report: Foxconn may build new Google Pixel phone

Company in talks with Google

Foxconn may be on the verge of a contract that could keep the assembly lines running for some time.

According to Bloomberg, the company is in talks with Google to build its third generation Pixel smartphones this fall.

The company is touting the phones as a direct competitor to the latest iPhone models.

The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL Android devices are expected to roll out in October.

Foxconn will break ground on its Racine County plant this year.
