MILWAUKEE -- The long-vacant Northridge Mall has been hit by a city demolition order.
The order, issued by the city's Department of Neighborhood services on Thursday, "says the building is dilapidated, vandalized, and is a a public nuisance."

The order gives the building's owners 20 days to demolish the mall or appeal.
Northridge Mall, located at W. Brown Deer Rd. and N. 76th St., has been vacant since it closed in 2003. It currently belongs to a Chinese investor group called U.S. Black Spruce Enterprise Group Inc.
