Following suit with the new Bucks campus around Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee Panther Arena and the rest of the Wisconsin Center District will ban smoking outside their buildings at the start of the new year.
Our partners at the Milwaukee Business Journal report the owner of Panther Arena, Miller High Life Theatre and Wisconsin Center CEP Marty Brooks made the decision to “follow the Bucks lead.”
The Business Journal reports Brooks was “impressed with the Bucks and Fiserv Forum promoting very aggressively as a non-smoking campus.”
Brooks said there will be signs posted around the district when the ban takes effect on Jan. 1.
The arena is home to the UW-Milwaukee Panthers, Milwaukee Admirals and Milwaukee Wave.
