MILWAUKEE — Don't forget to rake your leaves into the street by Sunday so the Milwaukee Department of Public Works can pick them up.
The deadline was previously extended to Nov. 22 and now, that deadline is approaching.
The weather isn't going to be too chilly this weekend so get outside and rake those leaves out of your yard!
Residents are only asked to rake their leaves into the street one foot away from the curb, keep the leaves from storm drains and sewer grates, and to not place leaves in any sort of bag. That helps with composting, the department said.
