The Urban Ecology Center is hosting the fourth annual HKE MKE on Sept. 9.
The hike follows a two and a half mile loop through Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum and along the Milwaukee River.
It starts at Riverside Park at 9 a.m. and runs until 1 p.m.
There will be educational activities along the trail as well as food trucks waiting at the end.
Participants are encouraged to create an individual or team fundraising page after registering online. Special prizes will be awarded to teams who raise $63 and up.
The Urban Ecology Center advises against bringing pets on the hike.
