RACINE — Racine's North Beach is closed after high bacterial counts were registered in water samples taken by the laboratory staff.
Zoo Beach also remains closed. Both are deemed unsafe for swimming until bacterial levels return to acceptable levels.
The Racine beaches were closed for several periods earlier this summer but had been declared open last Friday.
