RACINE -- Mount Pleasant's District Attorney's office charged a 36-year-old Racine woman Friday with three counts including operating while intoxicated (OWI) with her 5-year-old daughter in the car.
Police say they conducted a traffic stop in the early hours of Friday morning at Ole Davidson Road and CTH MM after observing Joyce Gandy's vehicle swerving all over the roadway.
Police determined Gandy was impaired, and conducted a field sobriety test in which the woman failed. Police say there were other possible substances in her system as well.
Gandy is out on bail for a previous battery and disorderly conduct charge. She was arrested for another OWI back in 2007.
The woman is also being charged with two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
