RACINE -- A 61-year-old woman was arrested for her third OWI after allegedly driving drunk and slamming her car into a pregnant woman's car on Monday.
Officers were alerted of a reckless driver in the area of 19th and Taylor in Racine where a red Chevy was swerving and almost hit a fire hydrant. Police were then told the same red car hit another car at 17th and Taylor.
When officers arrived on the scene, the officers discovered the driver of the red Chevy -- Vicki Musil --had a suspended driver's license. She claims she did not realize she was over the center line of the road. The driver of the other car was pregnant and stated she was in minor pain from the accident.
Officers noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from Musil's breath. She was transported to the hospital and blew a 0.250 in a breathalyzer.
Musil then told officers she was driving from her house to an AA meeting. She faces charges of third offense OWI and bail jumping.
