Racine police investigate attempted homicide, stabbing of woman

The Racine Police Department has taken a man into custody in connection to an attempted homicide that took place early Tuesday morning.

Police say they discovered a woman suffering from life-threatening stab wounds about 2:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of North Main Street in Racine.

The woman was then taken to Froedtert Hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating this case as an attempted homicide/stabbing and are asking that anyone with information contact the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.
