RACINE -- Racine has been named the most underrated city in the state, according to a national list released Wednesday by the website, Thrillist.
In the article, Thrillist says Racine's architecture, location, and food pushed it to the top of Wisconsin cities -- despite its possible perception of being a "ho-hum commuter town" since it is located between two major cities.
The beaches and Wind Point Lighthouse also makes the city stand out. The fact that it is home to the Kringle Capital of America helped make the case as well.
