Racine man charged with intentional homicide after stabbing Thursday

RACINE — A 39-year-old Racine man has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide and attempted first-degree intentional homicide after an incident in the 3800 block of North Bay Drive early Thursday.

Lapiate P. Boone is in custody, the Racine Police Department said in a news release.

A domestic disturbance resulted in the death of a 35-year-old male due to a stabbing, police said.

A 36-year-old female was injured and is in critical condition, according to police.

There were children in the home, but they are safe and unharmed, Racine Police said.

The incident happened about 12:50 a.m. Thursday.
