A Racine farmers market is making plans to take back the title of World’s Biggest Bloody Mary Toast.
According to theRacine County Eye, Milaeger’s Great Lakes Farmers Market is planning a Bloody Mary toast of 2,000 people on Sunday morning, and patrons will be treated to a free bloody.
Last year Milaeger’s held a similar event with 637 toasters, but their record was later broken. This year the owners hope to kick off a record-breaking toast, accompanied by live music by Mean Jake.
Anyone interested in a free Bloody Mary is asked to arrive between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The toast is scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. For additional parking, patrons can park at the Kmart on Douglas Avenue and a shuttle will be provided to take visitors to and from the farmers market.
