TOWN OF YORKVILLE -- Multiple people were injured, including three teenagers, after a crash in Racine County Wednesday evening.

The wreck happened at approximately 6 p.m. at the intersection of County Highway U and 2 Mile Road.

Initial investigation shows that an SUV going west on 2 Mile Road failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a car going south on County Highway U.

The driver of the car that was hit had to be extricated and was taken to the hospital via Flight for Life. Two other passengers in that car were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the SUV, a 58-year-old man, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
