RACINE -- While many celebrated out fathers this weekend, there are many struggling to be called "Dad" some day.
A Racine father hopes his family's journey to adoption will give other families this holiday, some hope.
Russell and his wife Elizabeth tell us they made it through a two-year emotional roller coaster last year. They suffered two adoption losses during their journey, which means the babies were given back to their biological mothers.
Last July, they were selected by a mother as adoptive parents for a little girl.
The couple is hoping to adopt again soon.
