Racine County speeding violation leads to crack cocaine bust

A Racine County Deputy found over 90 grams of crack cocaine and various other items while pulling a driver over for speeding Thursday.

The deputy pulled over the vehicle near S. Memorial Dr. and 21st St. in Racine for driving 46 mph in a 30 mph residential area.

During his investigation, the deputy recovered 92.5 grams of crack cocaine, two loaded semi-automatic handguns, three digital scales, three cell phones and $4,679.

The operator of the vehicle was arrested for Possession W/Intent to Deliver Cocaine (repeat drug offender). two counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He was also transported to the Racine County Jail and is being held on a total bond of $265, 100.
