MILWAUKEE -- It took sweat, tears and millions of dollars to get to the end of "phase one" at Lakeland Animal Shelter in Delavan.
The shelter that runs strictly on donations takes in animals from everywhere. They never say no. they are a no-kill shelter.
Now that phase one is complete, they can help treat more animals than ever.
They hope you come out Saturday, September 24 for their grand opening and "Whisker Walk." The walk is one of their largest fundraisers they have. The event has many vendors, music and contests.
