MADISON — A puppy is found and returned to her owners after being stolen from an outdoor kennel this past weekend.
WISC-TV reports the seven-month-old pit bull terrier was stolen Saturday afternoon on Sunfish Court in Madison.
Police learned that a puppy was at an address in Fitchburg, according to an incident report. Diamond was found and brought home to his owners on Monday night.
A 17-year-old admitted to taking the puppy. The teen was arrested for theft.
