MILWAUKEE – The FBI is looking a suspect from Puerto Rico who has ties in the Milwaukee and Waukesha area.

On Friday, the FBI announced a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Rafael Hernandez-Maldonado. He's also known as “Bebo” or “Chucho” or “Chucho Gonzales.”

Hernandez-Maldonado is wanted for shooting a man in San Juan, Puerto Rico back in 2015. The FBI says Hernandez-Maldonado shot that man in the chest and face numerous times. The other suspect, in this case, has already been arrested.

Hernandez-Maldonado is described by authorities as a 33-year-old Hispanic man with brown hair and brown eyes weighing 180 pounds and 5'9" tall. He may have a scar on his left cheek.

The FBI says Hernandez-Maldonado also has ties in Orlando, Chicago, and Puerto Rico.

Hernandez-Maldonado should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on this case should call the San Juan Field Office at (787) 754-6000, a local FBI office, or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate.
