MILWAUKEE — A private jet was forced to make an emergency landing at Mitchell Airport around 12:30 p.m. Thursday after experiencing a mechanical problem after taking off, airport officials said.
Fortunately, the plane was able to make a safe landing. There were five people on board and no one was hurt.
There is no impact on other airport operations and regularly scheduled flights continue to land and depart.
