FRANKLIN -- Police say a portable toilet was blown up in Franklin Sunday night at The Rock sports complex.
Officers say they received several calls reporting the "sound of shots fired" and an "explosion" in the northwest area of the city between 8:00 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. Sunday night.
An investigation revealed a "port-a-john" was blown up near the BMX track at The Rock.
Police say an extra patrol has been placed in the area to deter any further damage, and hopefully locate any suspects. It's not yet clear what was used to blow up the toilet.
