MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Police and the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner responded to a deadly shooting on the city's northwest side Monday morning.
The shooting happened just before 6 a.m. Monday, right outside Milwaukee MachineTool Corporation -- near Fond du Lac Avene and Flagg.
According to police, a 21-year-old man attempted to rob a 24-year-old man at that location. The 24-year-old man shot the 21-year-old man -- who later died from his injuries at the scene.
Police say the 24-year-old man remained on scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.
The Medical Examiner says an autopsy on the 21-year-old man is planned for Tuesday.
No other information has been released.
