WAUKESHA COUNTY -- The Village of Summit Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a missing 17-year-old girl from the Village of Dousman.

Police say on Saturday, June 2, Montana Skye Romero was reported missing by her family.

Montana was last seen riding her bike to work near Highway 18 & 67 in Dousman.  Police say she never arrived at her place of employment and has not returned home or contacted her family.

On Monday, the Village of Summit Police said they learned that Montana "was seeking advice on how to run away and not be located" before she disappeared. Right now, police say this appears to be a planned event and there is no danger to the community.

Montana is described by police as a white female, 5'06' tall, 120 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with white letters and dark yoga pants.

If you have any information of Montana's whereabouts, please contact the Village of Summit Police Department at (262) 567-1134 or Waukesha County Communication Center at (262)446-5070.
