UPDATE: Randall Patterson has been found safe.
The Cottage Grove Police Department is looking for help locating an endangered missing person.
Randall Patterson, 46, was last seen about 4:30 a.m. near his home on South Main Street in Cottage Grove on Thursday, according to police.
Investigators believe Patterson could be near Madison after they attempted to track his cellphone.
He was last seen wearing black basketball shorts and a black basketball-style jersey.
