FOX POINT — The Fox Point Police Department is investigating a suspicious package at a local synagogue Monday.
Several police officers responded to the Congregation Shalom at 7630 N. Santa Monica Blvd. around 11:15 a.m. Monday for reports of a suspicious package, according to a law enforcement official.
The North Shore Fire Department is also on scene with an ambulance on standby, according to a department spokesperson.
Streets surrounding the area have been closed while police investigate.
