The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on the 2100 block of N. 38th St., on Sept. 19 around 5:00 p.m.
A 2-year-old boy suffered a single gunshot wound and is critical condition, according to police.
A man and woman are in police custody in connection with this incident.
Police are still investigating the circumstances around the shooting.
