Missing Chilton man found safe, police say

CHILTON, Wis. -- Authorities are looking for a 44-year-old man who was on hold at a mental health facility in Chilton, Wisconsin -- and left without taking his medication.

Chilton Police say Daniel Fleming is on a Chapter 51.20 (13) hold at Innovative Services through Outagamie County.

Fleming has been diagnosed with Schizophrenia and was supposed to have his medication at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Police say he walked away from the facility around 5:30 a.m. in an unknown direction of travel on foot with no shoes on.

He is 6'2" tall, weighs 175 pounds, and has a beard, long fingernails, wearing dark gray zip-up sweatshirt (Zipper has lime green lining), gray sweatpants. The sweatshirt has a "Quality Truck Care Center, Inc" logo printed on the right sleeve.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call police.
