PLEASANT PRAIRIE — Police have identified the man who was hit and killed while walking across the street Sunday night.

Police say 58-year-old Jeffrey A. Lucas was hit by a vehicle near STH 165/104th Street at about 7:00 p.m. Sunday. Despite lifesaving measures, Lucas died at the scene.

Police are still looking for the driver. Investigators believe they were in a 2011-2014 Dodge Avenger with damage on the front passenger-side. The vehicle is missing part of its front passenger-side hubcap or wheel cover, and has damage to the windshield.

It also may have had a black car bra accesory attached to the front end vehicle, as a portion of it was left at the scene. That bra may now be missing or obviously damaged.

If you have any information, contact the Pleasant Prairie Police Department at (262) 694-7353 or Kenosha County Crime Stoppers at (262) 656-7333.
