Kenosha Police Department is investigating a body found on the ice at Southport Park in Kenosha Sunday morning.
Police say just after 8:30 a.m. a passerby reported a possible body on the ice near Southport Beach House.
Upon responding, the body of a deceased male was located about 50 yards from shore. A lieutenant noted that the jagged ice at the scene made the rescue more difficult.
The cause of the man's death is currently under investigation.
