Plymouth police officer involved in crash that killed 77-year-old man

TOWN OF LYNDON, Wis. — A two-car crash has left one man dead and injured a Plymouth police officer in the Town of Lyndon in Sheboygan County Monday afternoon, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office.

A 77-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and a 35-year-old female Plymouth police officer was transported to Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

A preliminary investigation shows the male had been traveling south on State Highway 57 when he turned east on County Road N in front of the Plymouth squad car.
