Event organizers say they're already working to bring the wildly popular China Lights display at the Boerner Botanical Gardens back in 2017.
“Plans are underway for China Lights to return in 2017 at the Boerner Botanical Gardens, during the same time frame as this year’s lantern festival. When final details are announced, we will definitely share them," an event spokesperson told TODAY'S TMJ4.
The Chinese Lantern Festival has proved to be so incredibly popular that online sales are temporarily on hold.Last weekend, 10,000 people attended the event in just one day.
