A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle late Thursday, authorities said.
The City of Brookfield Police department responded to the 16900 block of W. Capitol Drive around 10:15 p.m. Thursday for reports of a car colliding with a person crossing the street.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead as a result of the collision.
Officers continue to investigate the circumstances behind the incident.
